Hahaha, dudeee.
My first anime con, it was effing great. I spent only 2 days (1 overnight). I cannot believe I've been missing this for freaking 3 or 4 years WTF !!!! I already miss it even right now.
Cons are fun, and unbelievably a lot of great cosplay obviously and Asians *cough*GUYS*cough. And totally cool that you just wish it would happen more (oh wait that's just my opinion).

I saw the Jrock band "Myuji" perform (they did the opening song for the anime "X") and also "HANGRY & ANGRY" live concerts. If you don't know who Hangry & Angry are, then you're missing out on something special. They're a really great female Jrock duo promoting their fashion and recently new in Japan, so CHECK THEM OUT NOW.
Their guitarists and drummer are really cool, and I was even behind them on the escalator there LOL! Haha~
I actually screamed during the encore show, it was pretty funny. I think I really do like Hangry&Angry afterall.
And also the Jrock group Girugamesh was THERE !!! I didn't see them perform but I saw them right before my own eyes in front of me, so that was awesome.

I guess I was too embarrassed to ask people for their cosplay pictures, I think next time I will ask definitely. I nearly recognized almost every single character there though, I have a knack for knowing who is who and from which anime/manga.

There was an awesome Soul Eater group there, and I really wish I took a picture of Death the Kid... (and he was a GUY).


Ohh, and guess what? I cosplayed for the first time. I borrowed a dress made from ~Spirit-of-the-Forest and it was originally supposed to be the Amewarashi from xxxHolic, but I turned it into a more gothic lolita style I guess. So I guess I was...some miscellaneous gothic-loli person? Ha.

cosplayed an amazing Rita Mordio from Tales of Vesperia and also it was THE BEST RITA COSPLAY YOU WILL EVER SEE IN YOUR LIFE OK??? Well actually she got many pictures of her taken.
You need to see for yourself...ahaha~

The costume actually looked good on her in my opinion, I am already thinking of amazing cosplays for herrr. *o*

wore only part of the costume of Rabbi en Rose from Digi Charat, although she wore the Piyoko costume the first day.


Oh yeah, I also bought something from the artist's alley, I got a print on sale and the artist is really good. I love itttt~
I saw a few artists from Deviant Art there and it was amazing to see their work. Particularly an Asian man with glasses who's work on Deviant Art were godly. I was tempted to buy from him.

Sadly, had a table there and I saw her for myself, and I was kind of outraged, personally. I am going to bluntly say I HATE her artwork. They all look the fricking same and I bet it's a ploy for her to earn money. It was the most boring artwork ever, and believe me, I've been following on this "drama" on Deviant Art for awhile.

The artists I saw their were the authors of Penny Arcade,
's artwork (yeppp, Snafu Comics was there), and also 's art was on sale too, and also Alex Pardee's stuff which was the most awesome art you'll ever see.

I loved the doujinshi section though, and also I found the yaoi and hentai booths amusing. I had two staff members telling me I was a person who was escorted for being "underage while it was rated Mature" but that never happened actually. O_O
I never even WENT into the booth or got escorted lol.



Overall... I am pre-registering for next year haha. I swear I will because the lines took nearly 3 hours to get through.
And I'll make my own cosplay for god's sake and stop overusing money.

By the way, I will attempt to enter the Mascot contest, to earn free passes, you know? I've seen the entries for Sakura-con's mascot and they are pretty mediocre.
